Twelve of our older athletes along with coach Tara and coach Nick are training at the Chula Vista Olympic Training Centre in San Diego, California during March Break. The training centre attracts athletes from around the world in many sports including soccer, BMX, rowing, kayaking, tennis, beach volleyball, fencing and of course track and field. Many Canadian’s are currently training at this incredible facility including our national Para Olympic track and field team and some of our national team throwers. Delaney was lucky enough to meet and get a picture with two of Canada’s world champions in track and field. Ethan Katzberg is the world champion in the Hammer Throw and Sarah Mitton is the indoor world champion in Shotput. Good luck with your training this week!
