Our Community of Track Stars
REGISTRATION
Funds received by the club are spent on supporting the member athletes in track and field related activities, as well as purchasing the latest equipment to enhance athlete's skills.
The coaching of the Coquitlam Cheetahs Track and Field Club is a voluntary service with the exception of the head coach who receives an honorarium. Obtaining the required number of trained coaches is one of the most challenging tasks experienced by the club and to alleviate this problem, the club sponsors training clinics for interested volunteer persons that will provide them the necessary skills to assist in practices.
Our Purpose
The purpose of the Coquitlam Cheetahs Track and Field Club is to provide the youth of the community with the opportunity to:

Our History
The Coquitlam Cheetahs Track and Field Club, founded in 1962 and formalized in the early 1970s, experienced growth under Percy Perry's leadership starting in 1989. Perry's tenure saw increased membership, advanced training facilities, and support for athletes across divisions.
Tara Self took over as head coach in 2005, furthering the club's success. Recent years have seen continued growth, with over 170 athletes by 2016. The club not only focuses on track and field but also supports Cross Country Running, maintaining a positive environment for athletes to achieve their potential.
